Cookie policy
Which cookies and external services we use – and how to change your choice.
Please note: this is a courtesy translation. Only the German version is legally binding.
This page explains which cookies and similar technologies are used on this website – and how you can change your choice at any time.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. Your browser's local storage and session storage work in a comparable way. They can provide technical functions, remember settings or analyse user behaviour.
2. Our principle
We use no analytics, marketing or tracking cookies. There is no Google Analytics, no Facebook pixel and no advertising network on this website.
External content that can technically set cookies – the Google Maps maps on the „Locations“ page and the kurs.software booking window – is only loaded after your explicit consent. Without consent you see only a placeholder in its place.
3. Overview of what is stored
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Storage period | Category |
|---|---|---|---|---|
nas-consent |
NAT & Stars (local storage) | Stores whether you have consented to loading external content, so the question is not repeated on every page. | until you delete it, max. 12 months | necessary |
| kurs.software cookies | Booking system provider | Session management during a course booking; only loaded after your consent. | session or as stated by the provider | consent |
| Google Maps cookies | Google Ireland Limited | Map display and abuse prevention; only loaded after your consent. | up to 24 months according to Google | consent |
We have no control over the content of cookies set by Google or the booking provider. Their own privacy notices apply in that respect.
4. Giving, changing or withdrawing consent
On your first visit we ask whether external content may be loaded. You can change your decision at any time with effect for the future:
After a withdrawal, external content is no longer loaded automatically on your next visit. Cookies already set by third parties are most quickly removed via your browser settings.
5. Managing cookies in your browser
Independently of our prompt, you can decide in your browser whether cookies may be stored and delete existing ones. The relevant settings are usually under „Settings“ → „Privacy and security“. Please note that blocking all cookies may limit individual functions of this and other websites.
6. Further information
You can find out what other personal data we process in our privacy policy. If you have questions, reach us at info@nat-and-stars.com.
